Surya is no longer with us. He sadly passed away on 02-12-22. He was a brilliant music producer. His unique art form will live with us forever in the form of his music. Our thoughts and prayers are with our beloved brother Surya and his family.

Pandyan's latest solo record Conscious Breathing is his embrace of the unknown comes through in his unencumbered, adventurous attitude. The EP is a snapshot of his genre-blending vision as a psychedelic trance producer and the inner tantrum that comes in contact. The tracks draw on influences of being snappy, edgy, and having that freeform improvisation, showing how Pandyan can slither between styles with absolute ease.

Seesawing between his solo vision and what a dancefloor demands. Surya who is the man behind Pandyan project, designs a picture of its raw sound design, his desire for psychedelia and uninhibited sound comes out in spades on conscious breathing. The record often feels decidedly of the moment, made of phrases that feel both unexpected and natural. His Music is constantly shapeshifting throughout the ep, showcasing every possible side of the synth sound. Shunyata Records is proud to have his presence on the label as one of the most inspiring artists & we value his support for the label since day one.
